Boat Financing-Take the Helm

By Julie Jacobs

Do you need boat financing for a new boat or a pre-owned boat? No matter if you want a yacht or a speed boat there are plenty of choices available for you. First time boat buyers may be curious about the whole boat financing process. If you have bought a boat in the past, financing options may have changed since you made that first boat purchase. The boat financing process is now easier than it ever was in the pastespecially with the internet options. There are tools resources and products that will help you along the way.

A boat loan calculator that you can commonly find on boat lending sites is a great way to get started. You can estimate your monthly payment within just a few seconds. If you know about how much you will need for your boat financing, you enter the total in the loan amount area. Then, you enter the length of financing. The current interest rates should be provided. You can continue to change the numbers until you get a good match for your budget.

After you have used the boat loan calculator, you should look around the boat financing site. The better sites have links to boat manufacturers and dealers as well as more information about financing to help you get the best loan. They should also have contact information about who you can talk to in order to get more information about boat financing.

The length of financing for a boat can range anywhere from 5 to 10 years to 25 to 30 years. The length will largely depend on the overall cost of the boat, your credit rating, the interest rate and the amount of down payment you are required to pay.

Getting pre-approval for your boat loan is a great step in the right direction. It only takes a little while to fill out and submit an online application and you will have an answer in as little as 24 hours. Then you can get right on to the fun part-shopping for your boat. Financing a boat is easier than ever. You can do it.

Hints About cal sailboat

The Caribbean waters around Margarita Island are perfect for sail boats. They are below the hurricane belt and are a perfect area to spend some time here. They are a duty free port and you can re-stock your supplies at costs much lower than other islands of the Caribbean. One of the major stores that cater specifically to the yachting crowd is Sigo La Proveeduria located on the outskirts of Porlamar.

Most of today's modern inflatable boats easily match conventional runabouts for speed and handling, while some of the more sophisticated rigid-hulled inflatables are clearly superior to ordinary fiberglass or aluminum boats. For instance, the Virage range of sports boats features Zodiac's patented Futura speed tubes to produce amazing lift and stability. Because the Futura hull merely kisses the water, it creates less drag and thus requires less power to reach incredible speeds while performing with absolute safety. The big rigid-hulled inflatable superboats are equally impressive. With deep V-keels up forward and flat planing sections aft they can produce an astonishingly comfortable ride in tough offshore conditions, yet maneuver with ease in the tightest dock or harbor.

One can and should insure a jet ski prior to use. Insurance may include insuring the craft and insuring one against personal injury. Insuring the craft is easier than insuring for injury, as the jet ski is associated with accidents. If one cannot obtain personal injury insurance, check with ones health insurance plan to be certain that an injury via jet ski is covered by insurance. Some plans do not cover one if engaging in certain activities like bungee jumping, parachuting and the like. Check plan exclusions prior to purchase of a jet ski.

Hunter Class - South Africa - Official Website

8 Feb 2008 07:00:03 +0200
Hunter Boats was started in 1969, with the first "famous" boat being the NATIONAL SQUIB, designed and finished by Oliver Lee, and moulded by the Essex Boat Company. The Squib has gone on to reach national status with more than 800 on the water. In 1970, a chap named Michael Poland requested that the builder design a "lid" for the Squib, to enable him to sail it across the English Channel. As Poland's other favourite past-time was hunting, the boat was named the HUNTER 19! Oliver also designed a Squib with a lifting keel, called a TRACER, and then redesigned the Hunter 19 naming the new boat the EUROPA.
